Lumo Energy TeachLive
In October 2010, the Lumo Energy TeachLive Program sent Laura Quigley on the Earthwatch expedition Project Manta in Queensland.

In 2008 Lumo Energy, previously Victoria Electricity, and Earthwatch Australia created a partnership to bring enriching, educational and environmentally conscious experiences to students, teachers and community members alike. Inspired by these experiences the program enables people to contribute positively to a sustainable environment and encourages the uptake of green energy and the overall reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Since the inception of the partnership, Lumo Energy has supported environmentally minded individuals and organisations within the community.
In 2009, Lumo Energy focused on education by sponsoring their first teacher, Karen Johns from Kalinda Primary School, Victoria on an Earthwatch expedition Wildlife of Brazil’s Pantanal – Amphibians, Reptiles and Otters.
By supporting TeachLive, Lumo Energy assists teachers and students in discovering areas of research and knowledge they have never before explored.
